Do I have to be a supply chain management major to join?
Absolutely not! We have a wide variety of business majors in our association. 
In addition, Engineering students, Education students, etc. have joined SCMA. 
If you are interested in what supply chain management has to offer, this is the place to be!

How much are dues to join the SCMA?
Freshman FREE!
Year membership:
Juniors, and seniors: $40 | Sophomores: $30
Semester membership:
Juniors, and seniors: $30 | Sophomores: $20

Is membership open all year?
Yes! You can become a member at any point throughout the year and we encourage you to do so!

Will I be behind if I join later in the semester?
SCMA encourages students to join at anytime throughout the year, therefore you will never be behind. What you get out of this organization is dependent on the effort you put in.

Can I come to the general membership meeting if I am not a member?
Absolutely, non-members are welcome to attend SCMA GMMs. However, all other events are limited to members. To attend these events, make sure to become a member!

Do I have to be a member to attend the events?
Except for general membership meetings and the SCM Career Fair, all other SCMA events are for members-only. Make sure to become a member!

Where are office hours held?
Office hours are held in the Supply Chain Management Department lobby, third floor BCC, by the elevators.

Wednesdays | 12:00 – 2:45

How do I get involved?
Come to a general membership meeting, attend an event, or stop by office hours!

How do I sign up for membership?
Sign up online and pay via PayPal or at one of our general membership meetings! Make sure when you sign up to take advantage of our networking and leadership opportunities! Ask for more details on how membership can benefit your future success here at MSU!

Do I have to be a member to go to the career fair?
No, however, priority fast-check-in will be given to SCMA members, as well as no charge at the door! Non-members will pay an additional fee for entrance.

Who is our advisor?
Judy Jacobs, Director of Corporate & Student Relations, is the faculty advisor for SCMA.

How do I obtain a chair position?
Fill out the applications and make sure you talk to the appropriate Executive Board member about your interest!

How do I apply for the Executive Board?
Make sure to attend Leadership Academy in February!
