Hi everyone! My name is Enisa Selimagic and I have the privilege of serving as the President of SCMA for the 2017-18 school year. I joined SCMA as a freshman and have served two previous terms on SCMA’s executive board: Director of Community Service and Career Fair Director.
SCMA has greatly impacted the success of my early college career. After my freshman year, I interned with GE Aviation in Cincinnati, OH as a Military Spares Intern where I executed strategic forecasting duties for a 2-year supply base. This past summer, I had the opportunity to work at The Boeing Company in Huntington Beach, CA. I worked in Supplier Management within a unique group called “Procurement in People & Audits” with a focus on conducting internal audits of procurement analysts to support the Supply Chain and maintain compliance with company and customer regulations. This summer, my last internship will be at General Motors in Warren, MI within their purchasing department.
SCMA has opened many doors for me and given me the guidance to kick start my Supply Chain career. We are an organization that is driven to help our members become successful by offering a variety of networking opportunities along with numerous events and trips. We are also working on some new opportunities for members this year including excel courses, day trips, etc.
This is going to be a big year for SCMA. I am looking forward to meeting and working with you all. My door is always open- please don’t be afraid to reach out and connect!
I challenge you to join, get involved, and find out what SCMA can do for you!
