Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine Kim, and I’m a senior studying Supply Chain Management and International Business. I’m very excited to be returning to the Executive Board this school year as CFO! I joined SCMA my sophomore year, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions of my life. This organization shows, time after time, that it’s committed to the growth and success of its members.
Last summer, I interned at ThyssenKrupp Materials- a German steel supplier located in Southfield, Michigan. During this internship, I worked alongside the Supply Chain Manager to oversee sales, track inventory, and improve the flow of materials. This upcoming summer, I’ll be studying abroad for 3 weeks, and then shortly afterwards, I’ll be headed off to Minnesota to begin my internship with 3M. I’m so excited for the many opportunities that lay ahead of me, and I can’t wait to share my experiences with all of you!
If you’re interested in seeing what SCMA is all about, I highly recommend attending our general membership meetings and going on our fall/spring trips. This is a great way for new and old members alike to get plugged into the organization and get acquainted with some wonderful people and companies. If you have any questions about SCMA, internships, my role as CFO, or how to get more involved on campus, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing you at our events!
