Hi everyone. My name is Nic Holwerda and I am a senior student pursuing a career in supply chain management. Alongside business, I study Spanish and also proudly represent the Supply Chain Management Association of Michigan State University as the Vice President. Previously I have served as Director of internal Relations, Operations Chair, and as a Supply Chain Career Fair Ambassador.

I have gained many skills through my on-campus involvement and I am positive that these experiences have also contributed to me landing several interviews and internship/co-op offers. In the summer of 2017, I was a Supply Chain Operations Intern at ViaSat in Carlsbad, CA. At ViaSat, I focused on risk mitigation for developing product lines as well as purchasing material for domestic and global segments. This summer I will be a Global Procurement Intern at Abbott Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio.

MSU Supply Chain Management Association is an exciting part of our university. I joined SCMA as a freshman and I know that this association is across-the-board opportunistic for all business students. Dedication to our high-caliber student organization will jump start your future and take you places you may never expect. Whether it is acquiring professional skills for an internship, networking within our community or building relationships around the world, SCMA is an incredible way to become more business-minded at MSU.

I highly regard this association, its members, and the capabilities of our connected talent. It is always the right time to get involved! MSU Supply Chain Management Association always welcomes fellow Spartans and encourages their involvement. This is our foundation. Reach out to me personally for information, resume help, or even just to talk. I am here to support you.

Look forward to meeting you all. GO GREEN!
