General Membership Meetings (GMMS)
General Membership Meetings are SCMA-facilitated gatherings for employers/recruiters and students. Company recruiters typically share their company values, culture, operations, employment opportunities, and have an open forum Q&A at the end of the meeting. Dinner is also provided at each meeting!
Mentorship Program
The purpose of the Supply Chain Management Association Mentorship Program is to establish professional relationships in which an upperclassman SCMA member mentors an underclassmen SCMA member. The mentoring process is one in which a mentee strives to set and achieve personal and professional goals under the guidance of a mentor with expertise.
Community Service
SCMA strives to make a positive contribution to our surrounding community by providing members with community service and volunteering opportunities throughout the year. SCMA makes it a priority to invest in our community and the people who live in it! Join us in giving back by attending one of these events.
Fall & Spring Trips
The spring and fall trips give SCMA members an opportunity to see what it’s like to live, work, and play in a city rich with SCM opportunities. We visit and tour companies that actively recruit on MSU’s campus and grow our members’ networks with business professionals from across the country. In addition to attending corporate tours, members have the opportunity to explore the city with their fellow SCMA members. Come explore the world of supply chain management with the SCMA!
Leadership Academy
One of SCMA’s most prestigious events, the annual Leadership Academy focuses on leadership development by bringing together influential C-level executives, as well as distinguished supply chain management professionals. Attendance to this event is mandatory for those who are seeking to apply for an executive board position.
