The purpose of the Supply Chain Management Association Mentorship Program is to establish professional relationships in which an experienced SCMA alumnus mentors a current SCMA student. The mentoring process is one in which a mentee strives to set and achieve personal and professional goals under the guidance of another person with expertise, a mentor.
SCMA strives to make a positive contribution to our surrounding community by providing members with community service and volunteering opportunities throughout the year. Doing community service not only makes a difference to the organizations that we serve, but also makes a difference on our members. SCMA makes it a priority to investment in our community and the people who live it! Join us in giving back by attending one of these events.
Fall & Spring Trips
The spring and fall trips give SCMA members an opportunity to see what it’s like to live, work, and play in a city rich with SCM opportunities. We visit and tour companies that actively recruit on MSU’s campus and grow our members’ networks with business professionals from across the country. In addition to attending corporate tours, members also get time to explore the city on their own and enjoy nightlife and other events the city has to offer. Come explore the world of supply chain management with the SCMA!
One of SCMA’s most prestigious events, the annual Leadership Academy for SCMA’s most dedicated members, focuses on leadership development by bringing together influential C-level executives, as well as distinguished supply chain management professionals. Attendance to this event is mandatory for those who are seeking to apply for an executive board position.
